Everyone on this earth overthinks. You can deny it as much as you want, but we all do it. That thing you’ve been wanting to do for a long time? That conversation you want to have with your parents, friends or significant other? That voice in your head that is making you think of all the outcomes of. It’s called overthinking. Trust me, this is coming from someone who suffers from severe anxiety. You are going to be okay.
Sometimes in life, you really have to be just like NIKE and “Just Do It”. Do not hold back in life and always do what you feel is right for yourself. Overthinking will lead to a lot of what-if scenarios and make you feel that you have failed and that is how I look at it. Our minds can be our greatest tool and our greatest enemy. Do not let your consciousness make you feel like you are not good enough to do a certain task or talk to a certain someone. Surround your mind with an armored shield and realize to be great in life, you have to take risks and you have to suffer to become a stronger individual.
The last thing I want to discuss is to always look for signs in the universe. I am not religious at all, but I do know there is God out there. I am not writing this trying to force God onto someone, but try to have a relationship with God and talk to him everyday. He will throw signs at you that you can only see and have to realize that it is a sign. A sign won’t fall right into your lap. Fight for what you want, fight for what you believe in and fight for what you love. Do not overthink. Trust me when I say, I’ve been in those situations countless times and when I look back at it, I realize there is no need to overthink anything in life. There will be failures, there will be risks, there will be heartache and there will be success. That is life, and it will not change anytime soon. Remember, you are exactly where you need to be and you are following the right path. The man above does not put you in anything you cannot handle and always remember that.
